Essentials for Academic Writing is an intensive introductory workshop for Universidad de Chile graduate students who wish to develop tools and strategies to write scientific or academic texts. At the end of the workshop, students will be able to develop the introduction to their research project, which they will share with the rest of the class in an online feedback session. The workshop will be offered completely online.
Francisco Matus is a teacher of English, bachelor of English Education and holds an M.A. in Linguistics with a major in theories of language learning from USACH. He has worked in both private and public universities since 2007 and he currently teaches undergraduate students at Universidad San Sebastián and UDLA and postgraduate students at Universidad de Chile.
He has published his work and presented at local and international academic conferences.
